Aluminium 1100 is celebrated for its remarkable corrosion resistance, excellent workability, and impressive thermal conductivity. Neith Metals guarantees that every product meets stringent quality benchmarks, making them a go-to partner for customers in search of dependable and cost-effective aluminium forging solutions for various applications.
Aluminium 1100 forgings are crafted from a commercially pure aluminum alloy that contains at least 99.0% aluminum. This alloy stands out for its exceptional corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and superior formability. While it can’t be heat-treated, it can be cold worked to slightly boost its strength. The typical tensile strength falls between 90 and 130 MPa. Additionally, the alloy contains small amounts of copper, iron, silicon, manganese, and zinc, which enhance its overall stability and performance during forming and forging processes. Its mechanical properties and purity make it perfect for both industrial and decorative uses.

Aluminum 1100 forging allows custom shapes like rings, discs, bars, flanges, stepped shafts, and intricate profiles, ideal for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications requiring high corrosion resistance and ductility.
Aluminum 1100 is unsuitable for high-temperature forging applications due to its low melting point and poor strength at elevated temperatures, making it better suited for cold working or low-temperature uses.
Aluminum 1100 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, good thermal conductivity, lightweight properties, and exceptional workability, making it ideal for custom forgings requiring precise shapes and resistance to harsh environments.
Aluminium 1100 forgings find their way into applications that demand high corrosion resistance and excellent thermal conductivity. These include components for heat exchangers, cooking utensils, roofing, siding, and signage. Thanks to its electrical conductivity, it’s also a great fit for conductors, electrical enclosures, and bus bars. Its outstanding formability makes it a favorite for applications like nameplates, spun hollowware, and architectural trims. Neith Metals offers Aluminium 1100 forgings customized for industries such as food processing, marine, HVAC, and chemical equipment. Plus, its non-toxic and lightweight nature makes it an excellent choice for medical applications.
