Super Duplex Steel S32750 contains around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen additions, which improve the corrosion resistance and strength. The alloy takes the benefits of both austenitic and ferritic microstructures, showing excellent pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. It mechanically presents tensile strength ≥795 MPa, yield strength ≥550 MPa, and elongation ≈15%, with good weldability and toughness. Its high-pressure and temperature resistance properties make it appropriate for operating environments where strength, stability, and corrosion resistance are of utmost importance.
